Alpha Research has been working in social research for more than 40 years (est. 1970). Nearly all our work is in the public, semi-public and not-for-profit sectors. Our reputation is for a client-centred, flexible and responsive service, which delivers high quality research, intelligent and insightful analysis, and detailed, actionable findings. Some of our clients have been working with us for twenty years, and our repeat business levels are extremely high.
We are a small company, run by Directors Wendy and Derek Mitchell. Both have been in the social research industry for twenty years. Each project is managed by either Wendy or Derek, who are directly involved in every aspect of the project for the duration of the contract, and are personally responsible for all analysis and reporting.
Alpha Research is a full service research consultancy, offering quantitative and qualitative research and analysis, via a wide range of methodologies and approaches. Our services include quantitative fieldwork by telephone, face to face, post and online; qualitative group discussions and in depth interviewing; a full data analysis service; and detailed reporting and presentation of findings. We can offer a full service from survey design to reporting, or help with any part of the research process, such as consultancy on questionnaire or survey design, fieldwork services, or in-depth analysis of a clients' own data.
