Nielsen Buys Australian Software Firm L&J

Nielsen has acquired Landsberry & James (L&J), a media analysis and software company based in North Sydney, Australia.

L&J's software covers the entire analytics, planning, buying and post analysis process across media from digital to TV and radio, including ad expenditure and creatives. Its client base of more than eighty customers includes major media agencies, advertisers and broadcasters worldwide. Nielsen says the combination will round out its service and provide it with advanced reporting tools.

Nielsen Australia's Media MD Monique Perry (pictured) says the two firms have worked closely for many years, and welcomes L&J's 'incredibly innovative and agile team'. She adds: 'Landsberry & James has long-standing relationships with Nielsen clients in Australia for software that drives powerful insights into our advertising intelligence and digital data sets'.
