Research Now SSI Buys DMA-Institute

August 15 2018

Research Now SSI has expanded its ability to provide insights about the audiences exposed to ads and the resonance of each message, by acquiring online media measurement specialist DMA-Institute. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Gary LabenAmsterdam-based DMA-Institute provides digital media measurement, relevant audiences and insights through its Enterprise Platform and Performance Analytics Platform. Its technology allows marketers, advertisers and publishers to measure, validate and optimise for active measurement (research) as well as passive measurement (viewability, reach, audience) across online display and video formats, social media advertising, branded content and in-app formats.

Research Now SSI says DMA-Institute's technology complements and augments its own cross-media ADimension. This solution links impressions to individuals based on Research Now SSI's global online panel data, collects information about digital ad exposure as well as offline exposure, then delivers in-market insights via a dynamic dashboard across key brand metrics. The acquisition also gives Research Now SSI access to DMA-Institute's online dashboarding, online performance reporting and business intelligence scorecards, which provide an instant view of KPI's, metrics and currencies customised by industry and decision-making role.

Commenting on the acquisition, Gary Laben (pictured), CEO of Research Now SSI, said: 'Our customers will gain clarity about complex digital data in order to be more strategic. Marketing and advertising are at a major inflection point in the evolution of the industry, moving beyond a focus on aggregating data to the need for more precise and reliable data. Research Now SSI continues our commitment to deliver accurate, trustworthy data, for better performance as well as for more meaningful consumer relationships.'
