Dynata's Courtright to Lead New Data Strategy Function

First-party data and data services firm Dynata - which was previously known as Research Now SSI - has created a new Data Strategy function, led by Melanie Courtright in her expanded role as EVP, Research Science and Data Strategy.

Melanie CourtrightDynata offers access to data on more than 60 million people globally, as well as to an extensive library of individual profile attributes collected through surveys. Its new Data Strategy function will cover this data, which is contributed directly by consumers and business professionals who agree to its permissioned use.

In her expanded role, Courtright (pictured) is tasked with ensuring that the firm remains committed to its aim to provide the 'most precise, relevant and actionable information available' to market researchers, marketers and advertisers. As well as the overall planning and management of data strategy, Courtright's responsibilities will include creation of a roadmap of data products and intellectual properties; continued development of quality initiatives; ensuring compliance with global privacy and data-usage laws and regulations; and developing the company's data library and taxonomy across internal and third-party data sets.
