
In the US, tech research and data analytics firm InsightExpress has promoted Marc Ryan to Executive Vice President, Chief Research Officer, responsible for all research activities and marketing analytics staff across the company.
Ryan joined the company in 2010 as SVP, Chief Research Officer. He previously worked at Nielsen Online as VP, Corporate Development, Strategy and Innovation, and prior to this was VP, Market Research Products and New Product Development.
Before joining Nielsen, Ryan worked as Director of Media Research for Jupiter Media Metrix, and in the same role at AdRelevance. He began his career with Millward Brown in Toronto as a Senior Research Executive, and was later promoted to Research Director of Millward Brown’s Internet division in San Francisco.
Since arriving at InsightExpress, Ryan has led the development of the company’s panel-based data and analytics platform Ignite Network. He has also directed the launch of PackageImpact, the firm’s package testing and screening solution; Tablet AdInsights, which measures the brand impact of campaigns running across tablet devices; and LiveInsights, a real-time campaign measurement, optimization and reporting tool for brand marketers.
