Lucy Ireland, Director at medeConnect Healthcare Insight, has been elected to the committee of the British Healthcare Business Intelligence Association (BHBIA).

BHBIAexists to promote and enhance the professionalism and value of business intelligence in the healthcare industry.

Ireland has been a Director at medeConnect Healthcare Insight since 2010, where she leads a team of custom market researchers servicing UK and international clients. Prior to this, she spent seven years at Synovate Healthcare, latterly serving as VP/Research Director - New Syndicated Services. She began her research career at Isis Research.

Commenting on her appointment, Ireland said: ‘I’m delighted to have been voted on to the BHBIA committee. It is an honour to be asked and I am very much looking forward to helping to guide the strategic direction of the organisation, which plays a vital role in promoting and enhancing business intelligence within the healthcare industry.’
