
Retail data specialist dunnhumbyUSA has appointed industry veteran Brian Murphy as Vice President, Business Development, to lead the company’s growth with retail partners in consumer markets.
dunnhumbyUSA is a joint venture between grocery chain Kroger and London-based dunnhumby - the data firm behind the Tesco Clubcard loyalty scheme. The group analyzes data from more than 350 million people in 25 countries, and uses this insight to improve customers’ experience of stores and communications.
Murphy (pictured) joins with more than 25 years’ customer analytics, loyalty and customer relationship marketing, and supply chain management experience. Most recently, he worked at retail ad agency SBC, where he led business development and focused on client strategy and interactive planning for clients. He earlier served as VP, Business Development at loyalty program provider Brierley & Partners.
In his new role, Murphy is tasked with helping dunnhumbyUSA expand in verticals such as apparel, beauty, and food services.
