North of England full service MR agency DJS Research has appointed healthcare specialist Tessa Montague as Research Manager and Maria Royse for its newly created role of Business Development Executive.
Strines, Cheshire-based DJS Research, which was founded in 2001, recently
reported a 26% increase in turnover to £1.9m for the year 2011, compared with £1.5m in the previous year.
Most recently Montague worked as a self-employed consultant, prior to which, she served as Research Manager at Adelphi International Research, and an Account Manager at Millward Brown.
Royse previously worked in similar roles for several design and marketing agencies in Manchester, including True North, Reform Creative and Onside Creative, before which, she worked as a freelance designer.
Earlier in the summer, the firm made a number of appointments and promotions. Charlotte Hamilton joined as Research Manager from ævolve, where she focussed on marketing-related research projects. Charlotte Sykes, previously a marketer at Manchester Central Convention Centre, joined as a Senior Research Executive, Richard Slater filled the position of Finance and Human Resources Manager, and Elliot Simmonds took on the newly created role of Marketing Executive.
In addition, Kate Slater was promoted from Research Manager to Associate Director, and following a re-structure, Matt Coulling took on the role of Head of Operations. Alex McCluckie, Laura Crowe and Julie Rundall were all promoted to the position of Research Executive; while Annie Young and Bethan Turner become Trainee Research Executives; and Alistair Smith, Steven Searle and Kathryn Hadfield joined the data services department.
