
In Hong Kong, global data collection specialist Cido has appointed Ayaz Akhtar as Director of Projects, responsible for overseeing local client relations and business development, and for multi-country research projects across Asia.
Cido was
established in 2009 through a merger of Acrobat Research, Cimigo and Krämer Marktforschung. Through its operations in
China, India, Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam, and Indonesia, Cido offers a range of services such as online survey programming and hosting, online panels, mobile interviewing, CATI, and mystery shopping.
Akhtar (pictured) joins from WPP-owned Lightspeed Research, where he worked for the past six years, and latterly served as Senior Account Director. Earlier, he worked as a Research Manager at RONIN Corporation, and he was an RE at Synovate.
