GfK CEO
Matthias Hartmann comments: ‘I had the opportunity to work with Christian Diedrich before and was deeply impressed by his finance and leadership skills and his broad strategic perspective. His experience across Europe, the US and Asia fits perfectly with GfK’s global position. Christian Diedrich’s experience and his deep understanding of transformation will be a great contribution to the future success of GfK.’
On October 15, Diedrich will replace
Knapp, who leaves after five years serving in a joint CFO and HR leadership role. Prior to joining in 2009, she was CFO of the Power Transmission & Distribution Group at Siemens in Erlangen, and she worked at Fuchs Consult, DB Morgan Grenfell and Deutsche Bank.
Arno Mahlert, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of GfK SE, thanked Knapp and wished her every success in the future.
