As an Account Executive (AE), you will play a pivotal role in driving the commercial strategy for client renewals and growth. Collaborating closely with the Client Success team, you will ensure clients achieve their desired outcomes while meeting commercial targets. Your efforts will focus on fostering strong client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering measurable revenue impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee day-to-day client relationships with a roster of top brands in a variety of industries including but not limited to food and beverage, financial services, beauty and personal care, healthcare, manufacturing, media, and technology;
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for account renewals and upsells in alignment with client objectives, as well as selling any new teams to cross-sell to;
  • Implement customer engagement strategies including quarterly business reviews and joint success plans and identify opportunities and risks of clients' business;
  • Develop account maps of customer organizations, understanding independent BUs, as well as connectivity between teams and how insights is supported/funded etc.
  • Partner with Client Success Managers (CSMs) to identify and overcome barriers to growth.
  • Analyze client needs and market trends to identify opportunities for value-driven upselling and cross-selling.
  • Serve as the commercial point of contact, maintaining a deep understanding of client businesses.
  • Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships to position the organization as an indispensable partner.
  • Lead client conversations that align insights solutions with business needs, ensuring alignment with their strategic goals.
  • Own and achieve individual renewal and growth targets, contributing to company-wide revenue goals.
  • Conduct precise forecasting and provide updates on pipeline progress.
  • Engage clients to deepen understanding of their challenges and propose tailored
  • Partner with CSMs to ensure seamless delivery of services that meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Collaborate on client account plans that prioritize client retention, satisfaction, and revenue growth.
  • Utilize data and insights from the Client Success team to address client needs proactively.
  • Gather and analyze clients' feedback and share that feedback with internal teams to help us continually incorporate the voice of our customers in our product development roadmap
  • Lead by example to be a change agent in transforming work, both internally and externally, with the use of AI technology to increase efficiency, scale, and productivity.
  • Travel to key clients at least 1x per month to conduct in person workshops, meetings, and networking to identify new and expanded revenue opportunities.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • 7+ years experience successfully direct client management, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment or research technology
  • Strong sales and renewal pipeline management, with the ability to accurately forecast and repeatedly achieve revenue targets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex problems and provide recommendations in a persuasive manner.
  • Fundamental understanding of brand strategy and consumer insights
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to collaborate with cross functional teams in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to mentor team members, including more technical and more strategic aspects of the role
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and empathy for clients
  • Significant experience building customer relationships at senior level and handling escalations
  • Ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment while juggling multiple responsibilities
  • High level of intellectual curiosity - you see opportunity and growth in learning more about what you do and how it impacts others
  • A strong understanding of enterprise technology and SaaS business metrics
  • Problem-solving, lots of hustle, humility, a positive attitude and a sense of humor are a must.
