Ipsos First Half Revenues Increase | August 20 2001 |
Research agency Ipsos has reported a 64% increase in first half sales to Euro 217 million. For the second quarter alone, revenues reached Euro 122 million, a 65% increase over the same period in 2000.
Growth has been significant across all Ipsos operational and specialist sectors. The focus of the group's geographical activities is now more evenly balanced between Europe and North America, the two regions accounting for 45% and 41% of total revenues respectively. This is mainly due to the integration of Ipsos-Reid and Ipsos-NPD.
The group is confident about full year prospects, confirming the previous forecast for 2001 revenues of about Euros 500 million. This represents an increase of 50% over 2000 and an annual organic growth exceeding 10%.
