TNS Extends Omnimed International Service | September 6 2001 |
Taylor Nelson Sofres Healthcare has increased the scope of its Internet-based GP Omnibus, Omnimed International, through an agreement with Decision Analyst Inc. in the United States, allowing access to a panel of over 7,000 primary care physicians (PCPs).
TNS Healthcare's ability to access online doctors in the United States takes the number of countries that Omnimed International currently operates in to five, including the UK, Germany, Spain and France.
Omnimed International is a fast-turnaround, weekly, multi-country Omnibus among GPs and PCPs. Representative samples of 200 doctors in each country respond to each survey using the latest Internet-based research methodology and surveying software.
According to Bob Douglas, Managing Director of TNS Healthcare Branded Solutions, "With penetration of the internet among doctors as high as 90 per cent in the US, this agreement strengthens TNS Healthcare's internet-based Omnibus service, Omnimed International, by adding the ability to draw representative samples of PCPs - to complement our already proven internet GP panels across Europe."
