Marketing consultancy Capsicum Europe Limited has named Charles Sweeten with immediate effect as Director of Analysis and Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Sweeten will have overall responsibility for linking CRM and research strategies to the business objectives of an enterprise, with particular focus on delivering leading-edge customer retention and loyalty solutions to clients. He comes to Capsicum from Hutchison 3G, the new entrant mobile phone operator, where he was Head of Data Mining and CRM Analysis. Previously he was Head of Analysis at Maritz Research. His most recent publication 'Linking Major Client Research to Revenue' was presented at the Market Research Society Conference 2001.
