Largest Youth Panel in Scandinavia
April 24 2002

Ipsos-New Media Research has this week signed an exclusive agreement with Lunarstorm, Scandinavia's largest youth portal, hosting more than 950,000 registered members. The deal will allow the agency to research the so-called 'early adapting' Swedish population.

Lunarstorm members are in the 14-35 age band, and the community is growing with 3,000 new members every day. Given the broad knowledge offered through more than 25 socio-demographical variables about Lunarstorm members, Ipsos hopes to be able to draw extremely targeted samples, using online market research on generally 'hard to reach' specific target groups.

'The Swedish youths are known to be early adaptors, especially when it comes to telecom & communication, but also in matters related to new technologies, fashion and sports. Therefore, we think that this opportunity will appeal to our clients, who will benefit from getting an insight into the trends of tomorrow by looking through the Swedish youths' eyes, today' comments Andrei Postoaca of Ipsos NMR.
