Making Technology Work for Research | January 11 2003 |
Nunwood Consulting has been invited to represent UK based agencies, at the Worldwide Technology and Innovation Conference - Technovate - hosted by Esomar in Cannes, France at the end of the month.
Phil Rushfirth, Head of Quantitative Research, and Lucy Thompson, Head of Web Development at Nunwood, have been invited to deliver a presentation entitled 'Web Weaving for Global Insight Managers' in recognition of their pioneering work in developing ResearchNet - a dynamic, web-based software application which allows the instant and accurate dissemination of real-time, intelligent data from various sources to clients based anywhere in the world.
Phil and Lucy will aim to educate market researchers on the benefits of using existing technology to create a centralised, interactive knowledge management tool, which stores and interconnects multi-source data and documentation. They will examine how technology can empower research units to become pivotal, strategic advisers for the business.
Phil comments: 'We really are going to be throwing down the gauntlet to researchers at the conference, challenging them to exploit existing technology to change the way market research is used in business. Nunwood is one of the few UK agencies trying to drive the development of technology within the research industry and to be given this opportunity by Esomar to present in front of a global audience is great recognition of this.'
