Millward Brown Goldfarb appoints Chief Executive Officer | March 6 2003 |
Millward Brown North America has appointed Dr. Chuck Chakrapani to the newly created position of chief executive officer of Millward Brown Goldfarb, the company's Canadian division.
In joining Millward Brown Goldfarb, Dr. Chakrapani will merge his consultancy practice, Standard Research Systems, a research and statistical consultancy he founded, into the Millward Brown Group. Millward Brown Goldfarb is one of Canada's leading market research firms. Formed last year through the merger of Millward Brown Canada and Goldfarb Consultants, the company brings together the marketing and public affairs research capabilities of Goldfarb with the marketing effectiveness expertise of Millward Brown.
In making the announcement, Eileen Campbell, chief executive officer of Millward Brown North America, said, 'We are extremely fortunate to have Chuck join Millward Brown Goldfarb. He is a true luminary in the market research industry and a tremendous asset to the entire Millward Brown Group. Chuck will play an integral role both at Millward Brown and with our clients. Dr. Chakrapani also holds the positions of editor-in-chief of several industry publications that include Marketing Research, a publication of the American Marketing Association, and Canadian Journal of Marketing Research, a publication of the Professional Marketing Research Society. He has authored more than a dozen marketing research and financial advice books over the past 20 years and is widely published in numerous business periodicals. He is also an adjunct professor at Michael G. DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University in Hamilton, and has conducted many marketing research seminars throughout the world.
