Office in China for ORC
March 22 2003

Opinion Research Corporation has opened an office in Shanghai to focus on marketing research opportunities in China. This office will provide research and consulting services to clients serving consumers and businesses in the region and so extends ORC's Asian operations into mainland China.

'China is now the sixth largest economy in the world,' said John F. Short, chairman and CEO of Opinion Research Corporation. 'With the massive potential China represents, our clients are asking us to provide them with definitive marketing intelligence at the local, on-the-ground level, just as they did when we opened our first office in Asia nearly a decade ago.'

The office in Shanghai, historically China's centre of commerce, will serve both multinational enterprises seeking marketing information on China and local businesses, which are increasingly recognizing the value of market research and professional advice.

In addition to Shanghai, Opinion Research Corporation's operations across Asia include offices in Seoul, Taipei and Hong Kong, which has served as the company's Asian headquarters since 1995.
