New C.O.O. at NOP World

NOP World has appointed Jim Follett as Chief Operating Officer. Follett joins from Information Resources, Inc where he spent 15 years in various senior roles, most recently President, US Client Services and Consulting.

He began his career at Procter & Gamble and later held key senior marketing positions at General Foods, Mott's USA and Perrier North America. He holds a BA in History from Williams College and an MBA in Marketing from Columbia University Graduate School of Business.

The appointment was announced last week by NOP World CEO Simon Chadwick, who comments 'I am delighted that we have persuaded Jim to join our executive team. His talent and experience, which are well-known in the industry, will serve us extremely well as we advance our strategy to become one of the world's leading integrated information and insight companies'.

Follett added, 'I am extremely excited to be joining NOP World at this stage in the group's development. NOP World has some of the best talent and data assets in market research, together with some very exciting new initiatives to help leverage our strengths more effectively in servicing our clients. I look forward to helping implement these initiatives over the course of the coming months and years'.
