BPRI Increases Frequency of MPs Panel
December 16 2003

Despite the lack of trust in MPs reported last month in DRNO, people seem to be more and more interested in their opinions: BPRI has announced that in response to demand from clients, it will run its Political Opinion Panel (POP) and NGO Panel four times during 2004.

The Political Opinion Panel consists of 135 backbench MPs who reflect the composition of the House of Commons, while the NGO Panel consists of 145 key UK NGOs. The panels will continue to run concurrently giving clients an opportunity (if required) to ask the same questions to both audiences.

BPRI's Development Manager Simon Goldie says that '2003 saw an increase in the number of organisations using the MPs' survey and of clients asking to place questions at times when the panel wasn't running. To make sure we can offer a flexible service and meet demand, BPRI has decided to make both panels available four times in the year instead of the previous three'. The schedule for surveys is early February; mid-April; early June and mid-October.
