Joan Mullen has joined ORC ProTel as Vice President, Special Projects / Industry Relations. She has extensive expertise in compliance and regulatory issues and will combine new business development with responsibility for legal compliance. ProTel are customer relationship specialists within Opinion Research Corporation. In the new position, Mullen will be responsible for ensuring that the company is in compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations applicable to the teleservices industry and for new business development for the firm's inbound, web-enabled and outbound services. Mullen has more than 20 years' experience in the teleservices industry, with roles including Executive VP for Zacson Corporation, where she had overall responsibility for all telesales, teleservices product and client services, and latterly VP, Industry Relations and VP, Sales for Ron Weber and Associates. She chairs a Legislative Committee of the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) and is a member of its Teleservices Advisory Subcommittee. She also was National President of the American Teleservices Association, has received numerous Teleservices awards and is widely published in trade journals and publications. ORC ProTel CEO Ruth Wolf says the company is honoured to have Mullen on board.
