Millward Brown has announced the opening of an operation in the Philippines, with Dr Nena Barredo as Managing Director. Barredo will shortly be joined in Manila by Ian Kwan, currently Manager of MB Singapore. Barredo, a Philippine national who started her career with Unilever and has extensive MR experience in both consumer and service markets, says she is thrilled to be on board with Millward Brown: 'The company's knowledge capital and research methodologies are some of the very best in the world'. According to Asia Pacific CEO Andreas Sperling, the Philippines present a great opportunity: 'The market is culturally unique, economically growing and we have extremely valuable regional and global clients there that we want to service on the ground.
