ESOMAR Director General Departs | February 17 2004 |

ESOMAR has announced that Director General Ted Vonk is to leave his position as of next month to pursue other interests, by mutual agreement. The organisation is now searching for a new DG. Vonk will continue to contribute to a number of ongoing ESOMAR projects. Fredrik Nauckhoff, ESOMAR President, expresses his appreciation for the contribution that Ted Vonk has made: 'I am grateful that we can continue to draw upon his experience and expertise, be it in a different role'. Management Team members, Anna Alù and Wilfred van der Lee will continue to be responsible for ESOMAR's ongoing operations in close cooperation with the Council. ESOMAR will appoint a new Director General following a rigorous recruitment process, based upon a new management blueprint , the drawing up of which has been one of the key tasks in which Vonk has been involved.
