Wordibly
Joe Buscema has joined Wordibly as a Project Manager.
Wordibly is the transcription arm of Focus Forward, which offers qual recruitment in the US, incentive processing and coding of open-ended answers, and was founded by Kim Harrison and Andrew Le Guelaff. The division, which was rebranded as Wordibly in May this year, now offers a choice of transcription modes: Human only, Human + AI, and AI only, via an online ordering system, as well as customized solutions via its customer success team for B2B clients. Last month the firm appointed Jill Brooks as VP of Operations.
Buscema brings almost thirty years of experience in closed-captioning production, working as an editor, program coordinator, voice-to-text caption writer, and training supervisor at National Captioning Institute, and most recently as live operations manager at 3Play Media. He has also made use of his organizational and communication expertise to enhance video viewing experiences for deaf and hard of hearing audiences.
