In Pittsburgh, PA, full service firm Schmidt Market Research has appointed Ash Attarian as Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics.
Founded in 1986, Schmidt provides custom and syndicated research with particular expertise in the financial services, utilities, retail and healthcare industries. Attarian joins from Human8 where he worked for two years as a Senior Data Scientist working on statistical modelling projects and helping to develop anti-fraud tools. Earlier he worked as a Data Scientist at the Yamaha Corporation and at Qualtrics, and spent more than three years as an Analyst at the University of Louisville in Kentucky, where he earned his BS in mathematics and Economics. He also holds an MA in Economics from the University of Toronto.
