Revelation Releases Multi-Language Qual Tool
In the US, web-based research software firm Revelation has upgraded its online qualitative tool Revelation Project so that it can be used for Latin American Spanish, continental French and German projects.
The firm says that this will allow researchers to conduct in-depth immersive studies simultaneously throughout a number of countries, without the associated costs of travel. It can be used to conduct research across multiple geographic regions to gather culture-specific consumer insights, and also provides access to hard-to-reach populations in the US.
'With the release of our multi-lingual and multi-cultural capabilities, Revelation has truly made the world smaller,' states CEO Steve August. 'The tool now enables researchers to simultaneously capture customer experiences around the globe, and quickly develop the critical understanding to fuel successful new products, services and messaging.' August expects more languages to follow later in 2009.
Earlier in the year, the firm launched what it described as the first online Qualitative Discovery System (QDS), which integrates the features of blogs, diaries and bulletin boards into its analysis and reporting tools.
