Echo Unveils Media Monitoring Service
Reputation analysis and comms research specialist Echo Research has launched a fully automated online media monitoring, evaluation and benchmarking service.
The new EchoSonar tool gathers coverage from 30,000 international titles, and returns findings according to keywords - including those relating to specific brands, products, messages or topics.
It will pick up either a monthly scorecard report or a daily news alert, containing links to the online articles. Results are displayed by competitor market, media type and trend, together with a monthly tonality report.
'EchoSonar provides a very quick 'sense' of competitor activity and messaging from around the world, saving the cost of buying in press cuttings and human analysis' according to CEO Sandra Macleod.
The new tool aims to give global brand managers and agencies insights from detailed online content analysis.
With offices in London, New York, Paris and Singapore, Echo has more than 200 full-time employees and specialist analysts working across 35 countries in 33 languages.
