French pharmaceutical CRM and healthcare industry data supplier Cegedim has acquired the Nomi Group, which provides pharma business intelligence in the Nordic region. Terms were not disclosed.

Founded in Sweden in 1984, the Nomi Group provides healthcare professional databases, CRM, market research and prescription studies across Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. Revenue for 2008 was 60 million Swedish Krona (£4.7m).

As part of the deal, its portfolio and activities will be integrated with Cegedim's, and its Regional MD Peter Norrgard will become Nordic Regional Director while Sabine Lindstrom will continue to manage regional market research activities.
