Mezzasalma Lands Top Role at SKY Italia
In Italy, digital satellite TV network SKY Italia has appointed former TNS executive Andrea Mezzasalma to the newly created position of Head of Audience Research and Insights based in Milan.
Most recently Mezzasalma was Global Head of TNS Media Research in London, prior to which, he worked as a Partner and VP of Research Methods and Technologies at consumer research agency Eurisko in Italy.
He was recently appointed to the Advisory Board of advertising ROI specialist TRA, to provide expertise in the areas of strategic corporate initiatives and global partnerships.
In his new position, Mezzasalma reports to Andrea Scrosati, VP Corporate & Market Communication, who comments: 'Thanks to his huge international experience, I am sure that Andrea will succeed in making his contribution to Sky, by ensuring that day by day we will be able to fully understand the preferences and the interests of our subscribers.'
SKY Italia, which is owned by News Corporation, has more than 170 TV, audio, interactive and pay-per-view channels offering movies, sports, news, entertainment, and music.
