MMR Research Worldwide Names New MD
UK food and drink market research specialist MMR Group has appointed Mat Lintern as Managing Director of both MMR Research Worldwide and its online business Qubiq-Online.
Lintern, who has 13 years' MR experience, initially joined the firm in 2001 as Research Director. After leaving for a spell at Buckingham Research Associates, he re-joined the company in 2006 as a Board Director of Qubiq-Online.
Professor David Thomson, Chairman of the MMR Group, commented: 'I'm proud and delighted that we've been able to nurture talent within our own organisation. Mat's promotion is well deserved in every respect.'
Oxfordshire-headquartered MMR Research Worldwide and Qubiq-Online employ 56 researchers, statisticians and support staff and supply quantitative and qualitative research services to a wide range of clients across many market sectors.
Lintern says that by fostering a closer relationship between the online team and the firm's core business, the group will grow within the food, drink and consumer packaged goods sectors, while building on Qubiq's expertise in other sectors such as financial services, utilities, tourism and media.
MMR Group, which has a turnover of £17.3m, recently launched a service called Brandphonics, promising manufacturers a 360 degree view of the emotional factors that influence consumers when they make buying choices.
