TNS Infratest Appoints New Consumer Head

In Germany, TNS Infratest has promoted Jens Krüger to the post of Head of Consumer & Retail, as part of its integration with Research International (RI).

For the past 14 years, Krüger has held various positions at TNS, working most recently as Sales Director for the Consumer & Retail division.

'We are convinced that Jens's move will enable us to provide our customers with an even more attractive team and offer an even broader product portfolio,' said General Manager Hartmut Scheffler.

Following the merger of TNS and RI earlier in the year, the company re-branded TNS Infratest in Germany as TNS Infratest RI.

Last week, the firm announced that it is to shed 35 staff positions at its Bielefeld site. While 20 employees have been made redundant, 15 others have been offered jobs in the firm's Hamburg office.
