Media Info Firms Link Up

Media market intelligence firms Media Partners Asia (MPA) and Screen Digest are to collaborate to offer research and consulting services to clients in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific.

The partners will collaboration on the production and marketing of reports, and will promote each other's services to their clients - including Screen Digest's online Intelligence services and MPA's research publications.

MPA's information services cover 16 media and communications markets in Asia Pacific and include research, consulting, publishing, online and conferences.

Screen Digest's industry analysts cover film, television, broadband, mobile, cinema, home entertainment and gaming. A current team of 45 is based in a London HQ, and offices in Monterey, California. The company recently launched Global Media Intelligence (GMI), a research and analysis service specifically for media-focused institutional investors. Screen Digest acquired Monterey-based Adams Media Research in 2007.

Allan Hardy, CEO of Screen Digest says this move is 'the first but significant step in a broad partnership with MPA'. MPA's Managing Partners and co-founders Vivek Couto and Rupert Wilkinson said in a statement: 'We are excited to be able to leverage our capabilities and network to offer services on a global scale. There is a significant opportunity for us to capitalize on [Screen Digest's] strength in Europe and North America.'
