Research Recruitment Firm Bought Out
London-based specialist MR recruiter Soho Search has been bought out by Frankie Wootton-Kelly, formerly an Associate Director of the company, for an undisclosed sum.
Previously part of recruiters PRJS, the firm will now trade as Soho Search Limited, and will continue providing the same services - recruiting for both operations and research positions at all levels. Wootton-Kelly, who has managed the MR team for four years, says clients and candidates will find it 'business as usual'.
She worked both client and agency side in the research business itself before turning to recruiting for the sector. Beginning at Research International with a focus on ad hoc studies including concept and product tests, volume estimation and pricing research for FMCG clients, she then went clientside to the Research Unit at COI. After a spell outside MR, in product development at cosmetics firm Rimmel, she returned as a researcher on tracking studies for what was then BJM, before moving to SGA as an Associate Director. She then moved into recruitment, first at RPCushing Recruitment and then leading the MR team for Soho.
Citing a recent upturn in recruitment activity, Wootton-Kelly says she aims to build on the reputation of the already-established brand.
