B2B Specialists Beaton and Taylor Merge

In Australia, B2B research firms Beaton Research & Consulting and Taylor Management Consulting have merged.

Founded in the 1980s, Beaton works with professional services clients, including the Big 4 accounting firms, law companies in the Asia Pacific region and the UK, and global consulting engineering firms. The firm has offices in Melbourne and Auckland, where it employs specialists who provide services including market-led strategy, leadership and change support, and research and benchmarking.

Adelaide-based Taylor is best known for its Strategic Performance Analysis (SPA) market research studies, used for measuring the performance of products and services based on customer attitudes. The company works with clients in Australia, New Zealand and the UK, and has a specific focus on the financial services sectors.

Beaton CEO Reece Adnams say that the merger will strengthen his firm's research team in Australia, while the addition of Taylor products and service, particularly in performance tracking, will enable comparisons across the legal, engineering, accounting, IT and financial services industries.

A number of Taylor staff will join Beaton in the Melbourne offices, and the merged business will be known as Beaton.
