Pajot is New IMS Vice Chair
Pharma market research giant IMS Health has appointed Gilles Pajot in the new position of Vice Chairman. Previously the company's COO, he continues to report to Chairman and CEO David R. Carlucci.
 The company's Consulting and Services business and regional operations in the Americas and Europe, Middle East and Africa will now report to Carlucci.
Pajot, 60, is based at the company's Connecticut headquarters. In his new role, he takes charge of extending the firm's worldwide growth strategy across a broader range of health industry sectors, while continuing to focus on IMS's high-growth markets in Asia Pacific and Japan.
He has 35 years' experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries, and at IMS has held executive positions with responsibility for operations in EMEA, and global business management, helping to ensure a strong alignment across the company's business lines and consulting and services activities worldwide.
