Lonergan Research Opens in Oz
In Australia, former Galaxy Research Director Chris Lonergan has launched his own full service market research agency, which he says will 'marry old school rigour' with new technology and a thorough understanding of business issues.
Lonergan has taken the step after 15 years in the market research industry. During the past three years at Galaxy Research, he delivered quant and qual customised MR services including market sizing, competitive audits, brand landscaping and ad pre-testing and evaluation studies. Prior to this, he was a Project Director at Roy Morgan Research and a Field Supervisor at Solutions Marketing and Research.
His new Sydney-based agency Lonergen Research specializes in products for the PR and FMCG industries, and will conduct projects using online research, CATI, focus groups, depths, ethnographic and face-to-face research techniques.
Specialisms include brand image, new product development, research for small and medium-sized organisations and PR research.
