T3i Hires Telecoms Veteran as New CEO
T3i Group, which provides market research, data, analysis, consulting and advisory services to the telecoms industry, has appointed Jim Flinton as its new Chief Executive Officer.
T3i, which operates through business units: InfoTrack, TelecomTactics, Tarifica and TelecomWeb, was acquired from Access Intelligence (AI) last year by financier Richard Dorfman.
Flinton joins the group with more than 30 years' telecoms experience. Most recently, he served as VP/Customer Care at telecoms firm Avaya, and during his nine years with the firm, he also worked as VP for its Supply Chain Services, M&A Integration, Global Process Integration and IT, and IT Applications divisions.
Prior to this, he held various telecoms executive positions at Lucent Technologies, AT&T and the New York Telephone Company.
In his new role, Flinton will be responsible for overall strategic planning and company vision, operational and financial leadership, and international sales/marketing direction and forecasting.
'Jim's outstanding mix of corporate and operational experience along with a strategic vision will be instrumental in helping us to achieve our growth objectives,' said Dorfman. 'Our Board has great confidence in his abilities and stands ready to support him in his efforts to take the company to the next level.'
