Confirmit Opens Platform for Customer Development

Research software provider Confirmit has created a new framework through which clients and partners can quickly create new data collection and reporting applications, which can then be added to the firm's own market research platform.

The new Confirmit Flex has been developed to allow for the speed of change that customers sometimes demand.

It is currently running two applications in beta testing. 'iPhone Surveys' has been developed to enable researchers to conduct surveys on iPhones in the same environment as they can on a PC; while 'Geolocation' automatically pinpoints the location of survey respondents through their IP address.

'The applications we have running now are great examples of what can be achieved in an incredibly short development time,' explained Chief Strategy Officer Pat Molloy. 'As we develop Confirmit Flex, our customers and partners will be able to build their own applications, as well as test, improve and manage them without compromising the core technology in any way.'

Confirmit's SaaS technology has been designed for customer feedback, employee feedback and market research.

The firm has more than 200 employees at its headquarters in Oslo, Norway, as well as Guildford, London, Moscow, New York, San Francisco, and Yaroslavl.
