Decision Resources Expands Physician / Payer Research

US-based healthcare market research provider Decision Resources is expanding its Physician and Payer Forum product line to include primary research on European attitudes towards cancer drugs on the market.

Decision Resources, which is based in Waltham, MA, also owns physician and consumer opinions agency Manhattan Research, and Fingertip Formulary, which provides access to and insight into formulary data in the US.

The firm's new series of reports focus on cancer - particularly on the use of targeted therapies in colorectal cancer, breast cancer and non-small-cell lung cancer - across the five biggest European economies, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and the UK. It includes insights from both European physicians and payers to get what the firm describes as a 'true sense' of how both parties help shape the cancer drug market in Europe.

The reports have been designed to enable users to identify how physician usage of targeted therapies compares across the EU countries, while determining how and why physician prescribing patterns may change as a result of major events taking place in the regions.
