Synovate Hires, Promotes for Indian BC Team

Synovate has announced a new leadership structure for its Indian-based Business Consulting (BC) arm, which will now be headed up by Karthik Ramamurthy, previously responsible for the Mumbai business.

Suheil Murgai joins from SmartAnalyst Inc to manage the BC operations in Delhi, and will report to Ramamurthy. Amit Naikare, based in Mumbai, completes the senior team.

Ramamurthy studied at the University of Michigan, HEC School of Management and IIT Delhi, and worked for Reliance Infocomm and the Boston Group before joining Synovate. Murgai, an alumnus of IMT Ghaziabad, worked earlier in his career for JK Tyre and ICICI Bank Ltd.

Ramamurthy says that 'as with 2009', 2010 is expected to be 'an exciting year' for the business, with planned expansion to new markets.

BC has been assisting clients with their growth strategies since 1994, in areas including market opportunity assessment, competitive analysis, new product development, distribution channel and value chain analysis, market entry strategy, and partner diligence.
