Opinium Appoints New MD
In the UK, online research consultancy Opinium Research has appointed former MASMI Director James Endersby as Managing Director, following the departure of Dan Foreman last November.
 London-based Opinium was founded in 2007 by YouGov's former Head of Market Research Mark Hodson. His firm offers access to weekly online omnibus surveys, a range of bespoke market research services and a number of specialist panels.
In October, the company launched a UK political poll which will track voter intention on a weekly basis ahead of the 2010 general election.
Endersby joins from MASMI Research Consulting Group, where he was Joint MD of the UK business, and Client Relations Director for the group. Prior to this, he held positions at management consultancy Monitor Group in London, New Delhi and Boston.
