MediaCom Hires Consumer Insights Chief

WPP communications agency MediaCom has appointed cosmetics industry research specialist Jennifer Marino as Senior Partner, Director of Consumer Insights for its US operation.

Jennifer MarinoMediaCom's capabilities span media strategy and planning, media buying, consumer insights and analytics, and business science.

Prior to joining, Marino was Associate Director, Global Strategic Insights and New Ventures Marketing at Johnson & Johnson/Neutrogena Cosmetics, where she led consumer insights and marketing and strategy for J&J's cosmetics division.

Before her promotion to this role, she was Associate Director, Global Strategic Insights for Johnson and Johnson's Consumer Products Skin Care Division, where she managed all aspects of consumer and syndicated consumer research for Aveeno and Ambi brands. She was also the Director of Consumer Insights & Strategy for Coach Inc, and held a series of increasingly senior positions in global market research at Avon Products.

In her new role reporting to Chief Client Officer Euan Jarvie, Marino will lead the agency's consumer insights division, and provide strategic direction on the development of business-driving consumer insights and the integration of these findings into clients' overall communications plans.
