RI Veteran Opens Australian Analytics Firm
In Australia, former Research International director Scott MacLean has founded Nulink Analytics, a consultancy providing both advanced data analysis and consultation on research design and interpretation.
Before setting up his new business, MacLean was Head of Advanced Analytics at Melbourne-based Lewers Research; prior to this, he held senior marketing science roles at Research International in Melbourne, Frankfurt and London.
Nulink offers a number of services including causal path modelling, segmentation and profiling, key driver analysis, choice modelling and conjoint analysis, general multivariate analysis, data mining and advertising response modelling. It also provides training in statistical analysis / modelling and the use of Q research software.
Commenting on the launch, MacLean said: 'I have been working in marketing science with a passion for much of my life, and the opportunity to broaden the scope of what I do was very attractive. Added to that, I really enjoy the interaction with clients and/or other research suppliers who are prepared to have that extra element teased out of their data through the use of more advanced analysis tools.'
