Omnibus Service Taps Online Communities
US provider Digital Research Inc (DRI) has introduced a community platform called Waggle Omnibus, for use in online qualitative research.
Founded in 1992, DRI specialises in new media research techniques, with a long history of managing online panels and communities. Its new Waggle Omnibus service enables clients to tap into one of the firm's communities for exclusive use on a weekly basis.
Respondents for each Waggle Omnibus will be recruited with a particular focus. For instance, the Waggle Travel Omnibus will feature a community of travelers who are recruited to offer insight on their travel experiences and future travel plans, while the Waggle Grocery Omnibus will offer the views of grocery shoppers.
'Our new service is perfect for clients with a limited research budget, or those who want to 'try out' a market research online community before making a large investment in resources,' explains EVP Jane Mount.
