New Venture Research Buys Report Publisher
In the US, New Venture Research (NVR) has acquired the market research business of Electronic Trend Publications (ETP), which publishes reports covering advanced electronics and energy technology.
San Jose, CA-based ETP was formed in 1978 and publishes off-the-shelf market research reports for key areas of the electronics industry. NVR, established in 1988 to provide advanced business research and consulting services for high tech electronics start-ups, has since expanded into providing business development and merger & acquisition services to clients of all ages and sizes in sectors including IT and telecoms, consumer, scientific instrumentation and advanced electronics markets. The two firms have worked together for more than 16 years.
NVR, headquartered in Nevada City, California, says ETP's publications will augment its market research, business development and M&A consulting services by providing a solid database on market data on emerging electronics and energy product technologies.
