Revenue Up 10% at B2B International
UK-based B2B International has reported a 10% increase in turnover to nearly £3.5m in 2009, despite seeing clients move towards more 'defensive' research, and delaying projects because of economic uncertainty.
The firm specialises in providing B2B market research and intelligence studies on a global scale. Its services include market assessment and market entry, segmentation, product development, branding, customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction research, pricing strategy and ad studies.
During the year, Manchester-headquartered B2B International - which also has offices in New York and Beijing, and an affiliate office in Moscow - saw many of its clients move away from international market assessment studies, towards what it describes as more 'defensive' research strategies, such as customer satisfaction surveys.
However, Financial Director Matthew Harrison said that this trend had been reversed towards the end of the year, and in early 2010, the firm has experienced 'huge interest' in its Chinese and wider Asian offering.
Looking forward to 2010, MD Nick Hague is optimistic about the prospects for the company: 'It is clear that our clients across Europe, North America and Asia are feeling more positive about the future and there has been a significant upturn in enquiries and commissions since around September 2009.'
