Former Yahoo! Execs Lead New Data Firm
In the US, three data specialists have launched nPario, a new firm offering data management and data mining products and services to improve clients' understanding of consumer intent.
The company, which has raised $300k in seed funding, is led by two former Yahoo! execs, SVP of Strategic Data Solutions Bassel Ojjeh and Senior Director / Architect Krishna Uppala; along with former SAS/Oracle executive Basel Tutunji.
While at Yahoo! Ojjeh was responsible for building products that used the firm's data to drive audience engagement and advertising revenues. He previously co-founded data mining and predictive analytics company digiMine (now Audience Science).
'At nPario, we believe that organizations stand to boost revenue by more than 10% if they harness the power of consumer intent,' stated Ojjeh. 'Our goal is to provide our customers with a comprehensive set of data products that focus on the vast amount of commercial behavior data and generate immediate impact to their business and revenue.'
