Canadian Firms Merge

In Alberta, Canada, marketing services firm Twist is merging with marketing, brand and communications agency Creative Intelligence (Ci).

Formed in 2002, Twist's services include market research consultancy in addition to brand strategy, market entry and communications consultancy.

The combined company will operate under the Twist Marketing brand, with five partners: Twist's Catherine Proulx and Roger Jewett; and Ci's Melanie James and co-founders Dean McKenzie and Barry Anderson.

'Our strengths are complementary, our cultures and approach to marketing are very similar and the timing is ideal.
