New Publishing Partnership in the USA
MarketResearch.com and Simmons Market Research Bureau in the USA are partnering to co-publish market research studies covering a variety of key consumer sectors. Both companies will sell and market the co-branded reports. This is the first time Simmons, a leading provider of multi-media marketing information, has joined in such a publishing venture.
Women & Investing, the first of what will be a five-volume series entitled Women & Finance, has just been released.
According to Evan Goldfarb, Executive VP Marketing and Sales for Simmons, "We are thrilled to be in partnership with MarketResearch.com and excited about bringing the Women & Finance series to market. The first volume, Women & Investing, examines the basic demographic statistics that underlie the current emphasis on targeting women as investors."
"While women outnumber men in the U.S., they continue to lag behind in financial investment and retirement planning. This gender gap presents significant marketing opportunities for investment firms and other companies providing financial services in the United States," added Meg Hargreaves, Vice President of Research Publishing for MarketResearch.com.
The study identifies a variety of significant trends that are having a direct impact on how much women are investing including age, education levels, shifts in traditional household and societal roles and shifts in the levels of wealth controlled by the female population.
Volume 2 of the Women & Finance series, entitled Women & Credit Cards, will be published in October 2001.
