Firms Link to Launch Online Patient Panel

In the US, data collection and online panel firm Focus Pointe Global (FPG) has partnered with drug safety service iGuard.org to launch the FPG Patient Panel, which will provide access to consumers for research specific to particular medications and chronic conditions.

The partnership will also supply access to quant study programming and hosting support, as well as to qual study services such as facility rental and project management.

iGuard.org is a healthcare service that helps monitor the safety of medications (including prescription drugs, over-the-counter drugs, nutritional supplements and herbal extracts). The firm has a panel of more than two million members who are offered information about drug interactions and medication safety warnings, in return for feedback about their medications.

'This partnership will provide the already active iGuard.org community members with another way to participate in the development of better products and to provide information to pharmaceutical manufacturers,' explains Albert DolceAmore, Director of Partner Development at IGuard.org.
